Refund and Returns Policy

Amene Afro Asian Market, we strive to provide our customers with the highest quality products and a pleasant shopping experience. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please read our Refund and Returns Policy carefully to understand your rights and our obligations.
1. General Policy
- Eligibility: Only items purchased directly from Amena Afro Asian Market (in-store or online) are eligible for returns and refunds.
- Time Frame: You may return items within 7 days of purchase or delivery for a refund or exchange.
- Condition: Items must be returned in their original condition, unopened, and with all original packaging and tags intact.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are non-returnable for hygiene and safety reasons. These include:
- Perishable goods (e.g., fresh produce, dairy products, meat, and bakery items)
- Opened or used items
- Items marked as non-returnable or final sale
- Gift cards
3. How to Return an Item
In-Store Purchases:
- Please bring the item(s) and your receipt to our store located at PI. Chauderon 34, 1003, Lausanne, Switzerland. Our staff will assist you with the return or exchange process.
Online Purchases:
- Contact our Customer Service at +41213115605 or email at amena.market@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order to initiate the return process.
- Once your return is approved, you will receive instructions on how to send the item(s) back to us.
- You are responsible for the cost of returning the item(s) unless the return is due to our error (e.g., incorrect or defective items).
4. Refunds
- Processing Time: Once we receive your returned item(s) and inspect them, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If approved, refunds will be processed within 7 business days.
- Original Payment Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. If the original payment method is unavailable, a store credit may be provided.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to our error.
5. Damaged or Defective Items

within 7 days of receiving your order. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
6. Exchanges
- In-Store Purchases: Bring the item(s) and your receipt to our store, and our staff will assist you with the exchange process.
- Online Purchases: Contact our Customer Service to initiate an exchange. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send out the replacement item(s).
